What is the UCDS?
Once a month drop off to families on the Universal Credit Scheme struggling to afford food.
Why is it important?
The Government introduced a £20 weekly cut to Universal which leaves families in an uncomfortable position, choosing between heating their home or affording essentials such as food.
How is this being implemented?
We are working with local food banks and delivering non-perishable goods to those in our local community on the scheme. We are also working with local schools and community groups in order to collect these donations to contribute to our supply.
How can I help?
